The Killer Tomatoes series of films, games and an animated series was created by W. Finletter Films. It is about tomatoes attacking and killing people. Starting in 1978 with the release of the musical horror black comedy film, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. The success of the film led to three film sequels. In 1988, Return of the Killer Tomatoes! was released, then Killer Tomatoes Strike Back! in 1990 and Killer Tomatoes Eat France! in 1991. In 1990, an animated series with the name of the first film was made, it ran on Fox Kids. The series turned out to be successful, so it got a second season, which didn't end up being successful as the first one. In 1986, a video game was released with the same name as the first film for 8-bit computers, and in 1991, two new games were released for Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy consoles. Around 2010, a new Killer Tomatoes game was released titled The Game on the official Killer Tomatoes website for $1.00. Nothing is known about the game except the two screenshots, which show that the game is done poorly, as even the description says "Imagine Grand Theft Auto V, but with tomatoes... and a $5 budget." In 2008, Viper Comics released a comic book adaption of the film.
